M& J Security Services Limited is a family company and we have been providing specialist security services to homes and businesses in Dorset and Hampshire since 1980. All our staff are licensed by the Security Industry Authority.
At M & J Security Services we have been protecting property for our customers in Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and surrounding areas since 1980.
When your alarm system activates we will attend your premises and deal with whatever situation we find on our arrival.
Once the problem is solved we will re-set your alarm system and secure the property.
We will leave a written report on site so that our customers are aware of what action was taken in their absence.
In the event of a serious incident at your property M & J Security Services can arrange for temporary repairs to be carried out.
Visits to your premises can be arranged to provide access for contractors, visiting relatives.
Regular property checks can be carried out to comply with insurance requirements.

I have a business,how will a keyholding service benefit me?
If you have an alarm system you are probably aware of the difficulties involved if the system activates out of normal business hours. Whatever the reason for the activation the disruption for staff can be huge, especially for the designated keyholder who attends and then needs to be bright and bushy tailed again ready for work in the morning. That's where we come in, we attend your premises and deal with whatever situation we find.
My family and I live and work in the area. Evening and weekends we spend a lot of time on hobbies and activities , can you help us ?
Before signing up with M & J Security many of our residential clients relied on relatives, friends or neighbours to look after their property when they were away. However in some cases alarm calls were not attended or holiday dates clashed leaving the premises vulnerable. Our team are on standby 24 hours a day, 7 days a week ready to answer any alarm call that comes our way.
I have a second home in the area, will the keyholding service be appropriate for me?
Many of our clients have second homes. Some live in other parts of the UK and other live abroad. As well attending emergency calls, we carry out regular checks to comply with the requirements of the client's insurance company. These visits are tailored to a clients individual needs. A written report sheet is left onsite and we will also email or text a report to the client.

Where ever possible M & J Security Services will work with customers to ensure the services we are providing continue to be of the highest quality and we will do all can to liaise with our customers to help reduce call costs.
After an emergency call out we may telephone customers if we have been unable to access a property because our information about the property is out of date.
We may telephone if there are ongoing housekeeping issues which have resulted in a high number of calls and we believe our advice may help to reduce the number of emergency calls.
All report sheets are checked after a call out to ensure that the incident has been properly recorded and the client has all the necessary information about what actions we have taken in their absence.
A member of staff is always available to re-visit a property by appointment if the relevant details about the property have changed or if there has been a change of keys or access route.
